In the silicone product industry, in order to meet the needs of consumers, multi-color series silicone products have always been a hot selling product. However, in order to control production processes and costs, many silicone product manufacturers are producing products in two or more colors. When it comes to different types of products, they will choose some cost saving and relatively simple processing methods. As is well known, compression molding is the most common production and processing method in the silicone rubber products industry. For monochrome products, it is still possible to process them into multiple colors. So, what are the processing techniques for manufacturing multi-color silicone products? What is the difference between processing technology and monochrome silicone products?

Compared with simpler two-color and three color silicone products, the secondary molding processing method is basically adopted. This type of processing method is mainly used by silicone product manufacturers, which first solidifies the secondary color body during the production process, and then puts the color components into the main body. Fix it in the mold cavity and place the main pigment for secondary vulcanization. The product made is not much different from the dispensing process.

This method also depends on the structure and size of the product, as well as the color system. If the product is too small to easily place color K, then too many colors will be complicated and the operation will affect efficiency. If we only make some simple colors, there should be no problem.

Transfer molding method; Transfer processing is currently one of the few processing methods. Because it consumes more materials, few products choose this processing technology, and different colors and types of rubber can be used for secondary molding. The second injection molding of conductive adhesive and ordinary adhesive, multi-color injection molding, is the same as ordinary silicone products. It requires one color and is cured through secondary vulcanization to achieve the effect of two colors, but it can be used to make larger products.

In mold printing processing is now a more popular processing technique: it is mainly similar to heat transfer printing. The use of products in molds is more gradual and can form a single piece without the need for separate processing, which is the same method as silicone product manufacturers. It is made by molding. It mainly compresses the printed pattern cardboard into a mold for molding. After production is completed, its effect is the same as heat transfer printing and belongs to the transfer printing effect. This type of silicone product can be made into more than ten colors. Many silicone accessories choose this method.

Another simpler method is to stick different colors together. Reserve a certain adhesive groove for silicone gifts at the bonding position to ensure a more secure bonding of the product during the subsequent bonding process. In this way, different colors and hardness can be selected, and even adhesive materials can be used.

From an industry perspective, the compression molding process of silicone product manufacturers is more widely used in multi-color series products, with silk screen printing and drip glue being more versatile. However, compression molding is still inferior to these two processes in multi-color production. However, for silicone products with fewer colors, the effect of using secondary molding through compression molding is not inferior to other processes.
