What are the processes for silicone nameplates?

Time:2024-07-12 Views:165
The production process of silicone nameplates is rich and diverse, including mold engraving, screen printing, transfer printing, color printing, transfer printing, and laser engraving. These processes not only give the product a beautiful appearance, but also enhance its market value. Below, the editor will introduce each of these processes separately.

Mold engraving: This is the most common method of production. In the mold processing of silicone products, logo positions are reserved in the upper and lower molds, and logo patterns are milled at corresponding positions. Then, the silicone raw materials are placed in the molds and molded by high-temperature vulcanization, finally obtaining silicone products with logos. This method can create raised or recessed logo effects as needed.

Screen printing: Screen printing is a relatively mature printing technology in the silicone printing industry, which produces patterns with strong three-dimensional effects and is not easy to fall off. The clarity of silk screen printing can be achieved very precisely, which can meet the production needs of most fine logos.

Transfer printing:
The transfer printing process is suitable for creating logos with irregular patterns or multiple colors. It is achieved by intaglio engraving the logo pattern on a steel plate, and then using a rubber head as a carrier to print the pattern on a silicone product. The transfer printing process is commonly used in the production of silicone jewelry and multi-color silicone products.

Color printing: The color printing process involves using ink printing equipment to print silicone ink onto silicone products, and then fixing the logo pattern onto the product through a chemical reaction between the ink and silicone. This process usually needs to be carried out in a dust-free environment to ensure the clarity and aesthetics of the printed logo pattern. Color printing technology is usually suitable for products with white silicone base color and rich printed pattern colors.

Transfer printing: Transfer printing is the process of pre printing a pattern onto a transfer film, then transferring the pattern onto the surface of a silicone product using a thermal transfer device, and finally integrating the ink and silicone through vulcanization. This process can achieve multi-color printing and the printing effect is relatively exquisite.

Laser engraving: The laser engraving process involves spraying black light blocking oil onto the surface of silicone, and then laser engraving the logo pattern. This process is usually used on the buttons of electronic and electrical devices with a translucent effect, which can create a logo effect with a sense of hierarchy and three dimensionality.

In addition to the common production processes mentioned above, there are also other methods for making silicone logos, such as surface glue dripping, UV transfer printing, water transfer printing, etc. These methods can be selected and adjusted according to specific product requirements and logo design requirements.
